چکیده

Employing massive antennas array at the user terminals can be feasible by using millimeter wave (mmWave) transmission which significantly reduce size. The implementation of multiple input output (MIMO) facilitates accurate beamforming. In this paper, a modified orthogonal matching pursuit (OMP) algorithm is used to design wideband hybrid combiner based on sparse structure mmWave channel and frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM). Based OFDM, considered as narrowband channels so implemented for each subcarrier in manner where RF same all subcarriers, whilst baseband obtained subcarrier. For multiuser 5G system, precoder block diagonalization (BD) method base station (BS) cancel interference due other users. performance beamformers (precoder/combiner) are tested different scenarios number, numbers users’ antennas, number

MmWave Massive MIMO Based Wireless Backhaul for 5G Ultra-Dense Network

Ultra-dense network (UDN) has been considered as a promising candidate for future 5G network to meet the explosive data demand. To realize UDN, a reliable, Gigahertz bandwidth, and cost-effective backhaul connecting ultra-dense small-cell base stations (BSs) and macro-cell BS is prerequisite. Millimeter-wave (mmWave) can provide the potential Gbps traffic for wireless backhaul. Moreover, mmWave...

Bayesian Optimal Data Detector for Hybrid mmWave MIMO-OFDM Systems with Low-Resolution ADCs

Hybrid analog-digital precoding architectures and low-resolution analog-to-digital converter (ADC) receivers are two solutions to reduce hardware cost and power consumption for millimeter wave (mmWave) multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) communication systems with large antenna arrays. In this study, we consider a mmWave MIMO-OFDM receiver with a generalized hybrid architecture in which a sma...
